Through a very simple program of self-hypnosis and relaxation, learn to dismiss fear-based stories, misinformation, and birthing myths;  you are helped to see birth as normal. As a woman, you learn to trust your body knows how to birth your baby calmly, safely & easily.

After completing this twelve-hour course, you’ll not only understand the fundamental role of self-hypnosis (relaxation) and the methods for employing it for a positive, welcoming and loving birth, but also how to develop a sound birthing plan for your baby and how to effectively execute it under different circumstances.

This intensive class gives you the knowledge on how to birth calmly and happily. You and your birth companion will acquire the practical skills you’ll need to progress the birth process naturally and to make quick, positive, intuition and education based decisions as the birth occurs.

Classes are held in a beautiful space in downtown Stamford.
The location is easily accessible from both 1-95 and the Merritt Parkway.


HypnoBirthing® Classes are taught in a format of five, 2 1/2-hour classes. If you are very near to your birthing time, Muneeza can make special arrangements to ensure you receive your complete classes before your due date.

The Birth Companion

The Birth Companion is an integral part of the HypnoBirthing experience. The class welcomes your birth companion and encourages him or her to be as fully prepared as you are. He or she practices with the mother in helping to prepare for deep relaxation. During labor the Birth Companion guides the laboring mother through hypnosis prompts, relaxation techniques, deepening methods, and visualizations, provides comfort measures, and joins in welcoming the new baby, often by receiving the baby as he emerges.
